Kris Talikowski - Juice Hideaway Founder
Kris is a juice entrepreneur who own’s The Core Juicery in Swindon’s Old Town, and opened The Juice Hideaway Retreat in March 2017. Kris wasn’t always healthy; he used to suffer from bad skin, lack of energy , and regular bouts of tonsillitis and then glandular fever. He has used juicing as the main tool to clear his skin, gain energy and free himself of illness. He is now on a mission to ‘Juice The World’ and help people to turn their health.
Kris discovered the benefits of Juicing after working for Jason Vale, aka the Juice Master for 8 years. He helped build the brand taking juicing all over the world, helping Jason open 7 juice bars and leading his PR and marketing team. In 2013 Kris opened The Core, a juice bar and raw food restaurant, which among healthy food offers a a series of juice programmes, The Juice Hideaway Retreat is the ultimate creation of a health programme. Juice, yoga, raw food, sushine, exercise and all the right mental tools to continue once guests return. Kris also plans to open a retreat in Thailand in 2019.
Through years of practice, study and experiencing the benefits yoga has to offer, Lindsay realised it was something she wanted to share. She completed her initial yoga training in India. Since then she has been blessed with the opportunity to combine her passion for teaching and traveling. This has so far allowed her to teach in India, Mexico and throughout Europe. Lindsay is really excited to join the Juice Hideaway team this year.
Lindsay will be leading two classes a day. The morning will start with an energising flow class to help awaken both the body and mind. The class will focus on linking breath with movement, targeting strength, balance and assisting the body to detoxify. Each evening will have a more slow paced restorative practice. This class will allow you to turn inwards creating a deep sense of relaxation. A more introspective practice aimed at calming and healing the body mind and soul.
